WOW how this year has flown by... I am getting more and more excited every time I feel the warm weather outside. I tell myself every year that I need to move somewhere that is at least 70 degrees outside all year around!! I have so many fun things that I want to do this summer with my beautiful girls. This is the first year that a) I'm not pregnant and b) one of the girls are not so little that they can't get down on the ground outside and play! Brandon is very excited since I don't have a good excuse to go camping..so I guess I have a few months to come up with a good one!! Any suggestions let me know..its not that I don't like camping and the outdoors, I just like to be warm all the time and at night camping can get very chilly...and then who wants to be stinky and dirty for a few days in a row... not me and I figure that my girls get dirty enough at home so camping would be a disaster.
Update on my lil family...well the girls and I all caught the flu this last week so a few days seem to be forever, especially since I not only had to take care of them but myself as well. But thank heavens for immune systems we are all feeling a lot better and right before the weekend...YEAH. Rhendee had her 18 month check up a few weeks ago and I do have to say that I have never felt so bad for any little child. I guess it doesn't help that she is mine, but everytime we go to the dr she gets a shot. She has to get her synagis which we are very thankful that insurance okayed her for a second season due to her heart problems to help her not get RSV but unlike last year she knows as soon as we pull up that it can't be good for her. So not only do I have to sit at the Dr for about an hour with a 2 1/2 but also a very cranky 1 1/2 yr old! But this dr appt was supposed to be good since her heart looked great at her last cardiology appt. Come to find out she is not gaining weight at all and she has always been very small on the charts, but she has progressed slowly and since her surgery she hasn't been able to progress up. She is still only 17 pounds and the dr is getting a little worried. She is eating better then before since we have taken her to the feeding specialist but not what an 18 month old should eat. We also give her 2 cans of pediasure but that still isnt making her gain weight. The dr has said that if by 2 she is not getting better she will have to think about putting in a G tube in her stomach so we can feed her and fatten her up. She is worried about malnutrition especially since she needs all the caloried and such to help sustaine not only her weight but her height and brain developement. But I do believe that the warm weather will bring us some luck and hopefully we can get her to gain a few pounds!!
